Our Qualifications

Eric N. Allee founded Allee & Company, LLC in August of 2004.  Eric graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree in 1994, and started his career with the public accounting firm of Baird, Kurtz and Dobson (BKD).  He received his Master of Science in Accounting-Taxation degree from UMKC in 2001. He passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam the next year, receiving the 6th highest score in the state of Missouri.

Prior to Allee & Company, Eric worked for both national and local CPA firms, specializing in small business tax/accounting issues and tax/financial planning. Eric has also served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for a national construction company. He has served as an adjunct instructor of taxation for the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration at UMKC and has provided expert commentary on tax and investing matters for KCTV Channel 5.

The firm is licensed with the Missouri State Board of Accountancy.  Eric is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Missouri Society of Certified
Public Accountants (MSCPA) and the Missouri Society of Accountants (MSA).  Eric also is a member of the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce.

When not working with clients, Eric enjoys camping, canoeing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
